Heather Sundell’s notebook began as your standard issue black & white marble composition notebook. She then added the requisite accoutrements including a sticker of Dracula, doodles of stars and a ladybug and finally the white parts filled in with a multi-colored palette. Without surprise, it opens with academically instructed work including assorted reading logs and book reports assigned as part of her English class curriculum. Opening the book from the back reveals Heather’s self-initiated creative works including limericks, poetry and short fiction, making the book a “mullet” of compositions. However looking back, Heather discovers he work is holding back for some reason. Lyssa & Phil help her to try and get to the bottom of this and in exchange, she explains how to play pogs.
